University drop-out Marques Toliver has been wowing New York with his particular blend of classical sounds (he oft plays the violin in his sets) steeped in the same soulful sounds of the likes of TV On The Radio. No wonder TVOTR and Grizzly Bear, not to mention Miles Benjamin Anthony Robinson with whom he’s on tour with currently sing his praises. He’s certainly a gem who’s name will be around for some time to come.
